Elden Ring Level Cap: Soft Cap Stats, Attributes & Max Level Cap

Elden Ring Soft Caps

Elden Ring is a full-fledged role-playing game with dozens of stats that the player can manage, a large variety of gear to find, incantations, and many gameplay mechanics to master.

Leveling up is something that happens naturally in most games, but due to the difficulty of Souls games, even for mobile options, it’s always very important to keep a strict eye on your character’s levels.

Like most RPG games, Elden Ring has soft skill caps that begin to lower how much your stats are upgraded after a certain point. And then we have one final hard cap, which completely stops giving you any bonuses for leveling up.

Fortunately, there are multiple soft caps in Elden Ring since this is a game with an incredible amount of depth within its gameplay and how skills work. Most stats have a max-level cap attached to them as well.

It takes a long time to master every skill and to learn what the skill cap for certain things is – so we’re going to help you save your time by listing every Elden Ring soft and hard skill cap. Let’s get into it!

What is a Soft Skill Cap in Elden Ring?

If you’re new to the genre, a soft skill cap is a limitation that reduces the rewards that you earn by leveling up in Elden Ring. So, for example, if you gain an additional 10HP every time you level up, it will reduce to 5 after a soft cap.

What is a Hard Skill Cap in Elden Ring?

The logic behind hard caps in Elden Ring is the same as soft caps. The only difference is that the hard cap completely stops the benefits that you receive from leveling a skill up.

Please note that the information on the gains being reduced is not detailed for every stat since the game is relatively new.
