2. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

If I was to explain Subnautica as an entry in one line it would be that it’s like Valheim but underwater.

You have to explore the game’s world to find more resources and to uncover mysteries, while there’s a fair share of crafting too that can be done.

7. The Forest

The Forest is one of the most commonly heard names when it comes to video games about survival and exploration and that is for a good reason. Despite there being many years since it came out, it’s still one of the most solid experiences that you can have in the genre.
The player finds themselves on an island full of hostile cannibals that will kill you at every turn, and they have kidnapped your son too.
The only way to survive is to gather resources, build shelters, and uncover the mysteries of the harsh forest. The game is very flexible in playstyles too, so you can try your own approach to it.
8. Don’t Starve Together

Don’t Starve Together is the beloved sequel to Don’t Starve, with the addition of online play and more things to do.
The game is all about surviving and, as the name implies, not dying of starvation by running out of resources. Whether you play alone or with other players, you will be creating a base, looking for resources, exploring the game’s world, and trying to avoid creatures that are out to kill you.
