The real world is full of pollution, heartbreak, and way too many who argue about everything. While we can’t completely avoid the real world, there are a few ways you can escape it to some degree.
In my opinion, Sandbox games were created for this exact purpose.
There is a certain intrigue to them that separates them from another genre of games. Critics often scorn them for being an unhealthy “substitute for real-life” which I guess to some degree it can be if you overdo it.
But the games are undeniably enjoyable. And when it comes to Sandbox Games, there is no game on this earth that has equal footing with Minecraft.
The possibilities are endless, there is a lot to do if you wish to do it and if you wish to do only one thing during the entire game then you have the freedom to do so.
There are a lot of things that set Minecraft apart, one of them is crafting. It would be an understatement if I say that you can craft a lot of things in Minecraft.
And even though you can craft Diamond Armor, Fireworks, and even potions that make you immune to fire, there is a simple pleasure that one can experience while crafting simple things, such as flower pots.
The Materials that you’ll need to make a Flower Pot
To make a flower pot, all you need is three bricks. Unfortunately for you, bricks can’t be mind and grow on trees in Minecraft. Bricks have to be crafted in Minecraft. In order to craft bricks, you’ll need a bunch of clay balls, a furnace, and the desire to craft bricks.
Clay balls are not that hard to find in this game. Just start mining from wherever you are and keep mining till you find (which you eventually will because they’re pretty common).
Next, you’ll need a furnace. If you don’t have a furnace and also don’t know how to make one;
Get some cobblestone and place them on all sides of the crafting menu. You’ll also need coal which you’ll find the same way you find the Clay balls.
Once you have these items, place those precious clay balls in the furnace.
Place some coal to light it up and there you have it. You have successfully created a brick and made me proud. Make sure you have enough clay balls and coals because we’ll need exactly three bricks to create a flower pot.
How to Make a Flower Pot in Minecraft
Once you go through the trouble of making three bricks, you will be ready to make a flower pot.
Go to the crafting menu and place the bricks in a 3×3 crafting grid. It is very important that you place the bricks in the right pattern. There should be exactly two bricks (first and third slot)in the top row and exactly one brick in the second row (second slot).
Once you’ve placed the brick in the correct pattern a beautiful flower pot will appear on the right. Place the flower pot into your inventory and congratulate yourself on a job well done.
Conclusion
Make sure you have all the items that I have mentioned above.
If you’re more familiar with the game then having coal is not necessary, you can use any other fuel in the game to burn the clay balls. If you’re having a hard time finding clay ball then don’t worry, just your position and mine blocks in another area.
Flower pots are very useful if you have a good collection of flowers and plants. You can make a Potted Plant if you have both which will wonderful in your Minecraft base.
