Is Generation Zero Cross-Platform? (PS5, PC, XBOX)

Is Generation Zero Cross-Platform?

Generation Zero is a first-person shooter that initially showed a lot of promise before release. Once the game made its way onto the PS4, Xbox One, and PC – critics were less than generous towards it since it had a few launch problems.

However, critics and gamers don’t always agree and this is one of those times. Over time, Generation Zero has found its audience thanks to its interesting premise, intense gameplay, and fun four-player co-op campaign that can also be played solo.

Not only does the game have an active player base as of 2022, it even has a positive ranking on Steam which shows that the game has come a long way from its rocky launch.

Naturally, when a game has an entertaining co-op, it’s important to know whether it supports cross-platform multiplayer or not. After all, no one wants to have to buy a different platform just to be able to play a game with their friends.

It’s 2023 and being able to play with your friends with ease is an important feature of games to have. So, does Generation Zero have cross-play? Let’s answer that question!

Generation Zero Cross-Play Explained

Before we answer whether Generation Zero has cross-platform multiplayer or not, let’s quickly take a moment to explain what that is for those who may not know. If you already know what cross-platform multiplayer is, simply scroll down to the next section for your answer!

There are three types of cross features in video games. The first one is cross-play. This feature allows gamers to play a game with their friends regardless of what platform they’re on.

The second is cross-generation multiplayer, which means that you can play a game with different generations of a console that are under the same brand. For example, someone on a PlayStation 4 can play with someone on a PlayStation 5.

Lastly, we have cross-progression which means that the game shares progress between unrelated platforms instead of locking it in one place.

With all of that out of the way, it’s time to answer the million-dollar question.
