So, the max level cap for Feather Falling is 4 with a total of 48% protection from fall damage. It’s a pretty good amount of protection because sometimes, the fall that kills you is just slightly more damaging than your total health.
So, with a good chunk of the fall damage being protected against thanks to the Enchantment, you will survive almost every fall that isn’t ridiculously high.
In Minecraft terms, with approximately two armor pieces enchanted with Protection IV and boots enchanted with Feather Falling IV – you can survive a maximum fall distance of 103 blocks if at full health.
