It’s not the end of the world to play an MMOARPG with a basic build that makes you just a little bit stronger than your enemies. But when you truly understand how you can create the best builds in Lost Ark, that’s when the real fun starts.
Like any other good RPG, Lost Ark has lots of gears, classes, and different stats that the player can combine to create builds. And as always, not all builds are created equal, and a lot of trial and error is required for you to figure out which ones are the best.
After all, some builds are good for PvE missions but fall short as soon as you fight real players, which is a big part of Lost Ark’s gameplay.
Fortunately, we’re here to recommend Lost Ark’s best PvP Builds for you to use which will help you take down even the strongest of players without too much effort. Let’s get right to it!
Lost Ark Best PvP Builds
The number one thing to know about PvP builds in Lost Ark is that it’s a bit different to having a PvE build. In Arenas, players are given a pool of balanced skill points that they must use to set their presets.
So, it’s a good idea to set up a general build and then get used to it – and eventually make sure to build your PvP skill preset similarly when the game gives you limited points.
Best Deathblade PvP Build
The Deathblade class in Lost Ark is a great option for PvP combat due to how great its mobility and melee damage is. Since you’ll find yourself committing to crowd control often in the Arena, it’s a good idea to have a character that can rise to the occasion.
One thing that you’ll come to learn about Lost Ark is that some Engravings are great for every class, rather than just a specific one. And for Deathblade, we recommend Cursed Doll and Grudge.
Then we have the skills that do benefit some classes more than the others, and here’s what’s best for a PvP Deathblade build:
- Spincutter
- Earth Cleaver
- Blitz Rush
- Windcut
- Dark Axel
- Soul Absorber.
Lastly, we have the Awakening skill which benefits certain classes more than the rest too. The best Awakening skill for the Deathblade class is Flash Blink as it not only allows players to dash but this dash damages players in your path too.
Of course, you might be able to go for more skills and whatnot, but these are the ones that you should try to prioritize.
Best Glaivier PvP Build
The best thing about the Glaivier class is that thanks to its great damage input and mobility, it’s great for both PvP combat and fighting difficult Raid bosses. And since raid bosses require teamwork at times, it goes without saying that Glaivier can be a great aggressive option for team-based PvP situations too.
For Engravings, you should go for Pinnacle and Control since they’d give you a nice buff and boost Flurry Stance damage too.
In skills you should be going for:
- Chain Slash
- Vault
- Flash Kick
- Wheel of Blades
- Raging Dragon Slash
- Half Moon Slash
- Shackling Blue Dragon
- Cutting Wind
- Starfall Pounce
- Red Dragon’s Horn.
And lastly, in Awakening skills you should aim for the Yeon-Style Spear Technique: Spear Meteor and Yeon-Style Spear Technique: Storming Red Dragon. It’s a mouthful, but they’re very good attacks that cover a lot of ground and have a lot of range too depending on which one you pick.
Of course, do try to get the highest level of these skills if possible.
Best Bard PvP Builds
It would be a crime for us to end this list without recommending a Mage-based build for Lost Ark, and that’s where the Bard comes in. It’s one of the best classes in Lost Ark and you’ll find it very efficient for all PvE, PvP, and teamwork-based scenarios.
For the Engravings, go for Desperation Salvation and True Courage, both of which will provide good damage and health buff when combined.
For skills, you should prioritize:
- SoundHolic
- Heavenly Performance
- Sonic Vibration
- Wind of Music
- Guardian Tune
- Rhythmic Buckshot
- Prelude of Storm.
Lastly, for the Awakening Skill, you can comfortably go for Symphonia.
Once you combine all of these things together, you’ll have a cooldown reduction of 60% and all of your healing abilities will be boosted by 24% – which is a great advantage to have.
So, you’ll be dealing with a lot of damage and whether you fight up-close or from a distance is up to you. And you’ll be healing yourself and any teammates that you have too – what more do you need? I’ll answer it for you, nothing!
These are the best Lost Ark PvP builds in our opinion! All three of them cover dozens of different playstyles, such as aggressive, ranged, melee, and support. Make sure that you get the highest level of the skills that are listed for each class as they will give you the best stats in the end.
As always, keep in mind that experimentation is key. A skill that you randomly discover might work better for you than something we’ve recommended. The point of our builds is to set you off in the right direction, and the rest is up to you as you go on.
