Splitgate features cross-platform multiplayer on every single platform that it’s on. Splitgate includes cross-play between the Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms. And you can play on any of these platforms against people on the PS5 and Series X/S as well.
So, this means that anyone on a PS4 for example can play with someone on a PC or Xbox One too. And your progress is shared between the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game, which also applies to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The only thing that the game lacks is cross-progression, as every platform is locked to its own progress. Long story short – Splitgate has cross-play between PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
Is Splitgate coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S?
Yes, Splitgate is going to be officially released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Before the official release happens though, players can still enjoy the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game on the PS5 and Series X/S through backward compatibility.
Is Splitgate coming to Nintendo Switch?
Splitgate is not available on the Nintendo Switch. Although the developers of Splitgate said that they are interested in bringing the game to the Nintendo Switch, it’s not something that is currently a part of their plans.
