The first and cheapest card of the AMD RX 7000 series is the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT.
All of the major specifications of this GPU are the same as the RX 7900 XTX, so you’re not getting an inferior card with it. It exists just to offer more flavor to the consumer, and it will also help with stocks in case people can’t find the more powerful variant.
In any case, it does have a slightly cheaper price for those who look for such things. Though it is surely debatable if it’s worth it due to how small the difference is.
2. AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX
The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX is currently the strongest AMD graphics card to ever exist. It’s packed with immense power and is a direct rival to the Nvidia RTX 4090 – which is not an easy task.
It costs more than the RX 7900 XT but not by much – which makes it an incredibly appealing choice for everyone who wants to buy an AMD card.

The most important aspect of any GPU is its specifications. Whether it has all of the latest technologies or not can make or break a product – so let’s take a look at the specifications of the AMD RX 7000 graphics cards.
Both the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX come with mostly similar specifications since they cost similar and use the RDNA 3 architecture.
It’s promised that the RX 7900 XTX in particular will be at least 1.7 times faster than AMD’s previous flagship GPU, which was the Radeon RX 6950 XT in 4K resolution.

One thing that both GPUs will share aside from the architecture is that they use two 8-pin connectors. This is an improvement over what the RTX 4090 card has, which was criticized for having connectors that ended up overheating.
And another win that AMD has over Nvidia right now is that these cards come with DisplayPort 2.1 – which allows the RX 7000 series to have higher refresh rates on 4K and 8K resolutions.
In a time where higher refresh rates are so important, AMD certainly struck gold.

The price of AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX is $999 dollars, which is pretty decent for a flagship graphics card with 24GB VRAM.
Is the AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series Worth It?
The answer to this question depends on only three things.
The first thing is – do you have the previous flagship RX 6000 series GPUs from AMD? If yes, you might not need to upgrade just yet since those graphics cards still run all the latest games and even feature decent ray tracing. However, if you’re someone who likes to stay up-to-date, then you should still buy the newer cards.
The second thing is – do you like Nvidia more? If yes, then you might want to get the Nvidia RTX 4080 16GB or RTX 4090 because they are great GPUs too.
And lastly – is this your first AMD GPU that you wish to buy? If you don’t have one already, then this is a great point to get started with. Because these graphics cards are nothing short of a powerhouse and even have a few points that are more appealing than the Nvidia RTX 4000 series.
