How to make a Superior Kibble in Ark: Survival Evolved
As mentioned in the intro, Superior Kibble is useful for feeding and taming a long list of larger creatures. It’s not particularly useful for the player to eat themselves and it spoils in a total of 3 days – so that gives you an idea of when you should make some.
Not only does the Superior Kibble give a better taming effect than the likes of meat, but it also takes a lot more time to spoil than some other things such as the Sweet Vegetable Cake (unless you have a refrigerator or a preserving bin).
With these important bits of information out of the way, let’s look at what you need to do to make the Superior Kibble.
Step 1 – Obtain the necessary tools for production
You can cook Superior Kibble in a Cooking Pot and an Industrial Cooker. Both of these options work, so make sure to have either of the two and prepare it for when it’s time to cook.
Step 2 – Gather the ingredients required for the recipe
These are the resources that you need to cook the Superior Kibble:
- Prime Meat Jerky (1)
- Large Egg (x1)
- Fiber (5x)
- Water (1x)
- Sap (1x)
- Rare Mushroom (2x)
- Citronal (2x)
If you’re using the Cooking Pot, you’ll need to collect the Water in a Water Jar, Canteen, or a Waterskin. And some Large Egg types that you can collect include the Allosaurus Egg, the Spino Egg, Megalania Egg, Titanoboa Egg, and more.
On the other hand, if you’re using the Industrial Cooker, the water for cooking the Superior Kibble will come automatically from the irrigation pipes.
Once you have the ingredients added and ready to go inside the Cooking Pot, let it cook for 30 seconds, and then you’re good to go. The Industrial Cooker makes it immediately, so simply add the ingredients and it will pop up inside your inventory.
