Terraria Fishing Potion Stats (Crafting Guide)

Terraria Fishing Potion Stats

Terraria is a game filled with hundreds of things that the player can do. Since it’s often compared to Minecraft in how much the game has to offer in its sandbox, it’s no surprise that it’s filled with things like potions and crafting too.

One of the most important potions in Terraria is the Fishing Potion, which, as the name implies, helps players have a better experience with fishing.

As with other potions, you need to craft the fishing potion in order to use it. And of course, knowing the stats of the potion before you go through the effort of crafting it helps too.

So, let’s take a look at Terraria’s Fishing Potion stats and how you can craft it!

Fishing Potion Stats In Terraria

Before we get into how you can craft it, let’s take a look at its stats.

  • Use time: 17
  • Rarity: Blue
  • Sell Value: 2 silver coins
  • Buff Type: Increases Fishing power
  • Duration: 8 minutes (can be canceled sooner per choice)

Since this is an item meant for fishing, there are no additional buffs that it provides. But 8 minutes of increased fishing power is pretty good for what it is!

How to craft Fishing Potion in Terraria

The very first thing that you need to know about crafting the Fishing Potion is that it requires 20 Research points.

The ingredients that you need are Bottled Water, Crispy Honey Block, and Water Leaf.

Once you have all three of these, you can craft it using either a Placed Bottle or the Alchemy Table. Whichever suits you best will do the job and you can craft the Fishing Potion as soon as you have the ingredients.

Once crafted, you will have the Fishing Potion, which can be recognized by its fishing hook-like appearance.

That’s it for our Fishing Potion guide for Terraria! We hope that you found it useful and are already on your way to craft some fishing potions.
