Microsoft allows family sharing for their video games and even the Game Pass. However, unlike Steam, Microsoft lets gamers play the same game at the same time – which means that multiple copies of a game are not needed. Here are the ways in which you can make use of that:
1. Family Share Sea of Thieves with your friends
If you buy Sea of Thieves on the Microsoft Store, you can share the game with 3 other people for free and they can all play it online with you at the same time.
This includes two computers and two Xbox consoles. All you need to do is establish one machine as the ‘main’ one and then 3 other people can play it for free unlike Steam, they can play it online at the same time as you and the others using family share too.
