The NBA games have always been excellent simulators and as time goes on, they become more and more realistic. Any fan of basketball knows that having a good Center is a very crucial part of your time and can be the difference between winning or losing a game.
NBA2K22 comes with one of the most diverse character builders that we’ve seen yet and it includes many realistic attributes that add both pros and cons to your player. It’s important to know what the best options are that you can use for your Center build in the game and it requires a lot of experimentation to get it right.
Fortunately for you, we’re here to save your time by suggesting NBA2K22’s best Center builds for the Next Gen version of the game.
Although, these builds might work for the previous-gen version of the game too as long as you’re fully updated!
NBA2K22 Best Center Builds, Ranked
There are many different ways in which you can create a Center player in NBA2K22 and what build suits you most comes down to your playstyle.
But the likelihood of your players being good does depend on certain tricks of the trade, so we’re recommending some builds to you that you can use.
One thing to note is that using the Metric system is usually the better idea. And for some builds, if you change back to Imperial from Metric after a build is done, you can often change settings in a bit of a glitchy manner that is otherwise not possible.
1. Paint Beast
The Paint Beast is an excellent Center build that you can create which has a great rating and comes with very good attributes. Of course, you cannot max out every single thing in the game because that’s how the balancing works – but this build comes pretty close to giving you the best options out of every category in the game.
For the body settings, you’ll need to use the aforementioned Metric/Imperial glitch. When on Metric first, change Height to 2.17m, 102kg weight, and 2.26m wingspan.
After that, here’s everything that you need to set up for this build initially in Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking, Physicals, and Defense/Rebounding:
As you can see, not only is every bar very high, the potential badge points are great too. Limitless Takeoff is among the potential badges and it’s always a good idea to put on your Center build.
Once you’re in the next category, go with Boxout Wall and See the Future in your Primary and Secondary Takeovers.
Now, change back to Imperial and edit your build which will allow you to put 7’2” as height, 235lbs as weight, and an 8’0” wingspan. And change body shape to Built or Defined. This gives you arguably one of the best Center builds in NBA2K22 Next Gen.
2. Facilitating 3-Level 2-Way
This is one of the rare builds in the game that do not require a glitch to be great. First of all, put height as 7’0” and then weight at 252lbs. The wingspan should be 7’5” and the Body Shape should be Solid.
Then, these are the Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking, Physicals, and Defense/Rebounding settings that you need for some great potential badge points and overall stats:
Once you’re done, you will get some really good takeovers too such as Sharpshooting, Glass Cleaning, and Post-Point – all of which are perfect for a Center build.
3. 2-Way Facilitator
The 2-Way Facilitator easily wins the top-three spot on this list. Bigger is not always better as most 7’3 glitch builds would have you believe, so this non-glitch next-gen Center build in NBA2K22 is something that deserves your attention.
Start with the body type of 6’9”, 217lbs, and 7’4” wingspan. The body shape should be solid, which works pretty well with these details.
For the Finishing, Shooting, Playmaking, Physicals, and Defense/Rebounding, select these stats:
For the takeovers, go for Paint Intimidation in Primary and Spot-Up Precision for Secondary.
