The foam did not feel like it was getting worn out and the build quality, especially the steel, mostly feels very sturdy.

We have to be completely honest though, just because it didn’t happen to us, doesn’t mean it is absolute. But the chair’s design is not without its faults. The armrests could have been better and for heavier bodies, the foam feels a bit thin because the steel can end up feeling like it’s close to your body. It’s not borderline uncomfortable, but it does leave you feeling that it could’ve been better.

The lumbar support, despite being good, also doesn’t stay in one place due to a lack of straps so that is something that you’ll have to get used to as well.

Now, the thing is, if this were an expensive chair, I’d say this standard is unacceptable. However, you will never be able to find every single of the things that I’ve mentioned being completely satisfactory for a budget gaming chair. So, you take what you get and with that in mind, it does overall work pretty well as a chair if you’re willing to overlook the small details.

Notable Shortcomings

Though the overall build of this chair is decent, unfortunately, it does come with a few hiccups too unrelated to the comfort side of things. First of all, the armrests can be a bit difficult to adjust at times because they are not necessarily soft and can feel a bit stuck.

Then we have the fact that it can feel very warm after many hours of use in a warm/humid room, which can especially be a problem if you live in a region that reaches high temperatures.

And it’s quite heavy too, so it’s a bit of an inconvenience if you have to relocate it between rooms – though most people put them next to their primary table, so this is not a big issue.

Lastly, it certainly could’ve been a bit taller as people with bigger heights find it a bit inconvenient at times.
