However, we absolutely can’t deny that it looks breathtaking on the Samsung S23 Ultra. The game is an Action RPG, and it’s one of the best of its kind in terms of raw gameplay.
It’s also incredibly stimulating when it comes to the graphical fidelity and art design. The game always has so much going on, from visual effects and so many objects on screen at all times, yet the Samsung S23 Ultra handles it like a champ.
The most it does is make the phone feel slightly warm at the back, but there are zero dips in performance. It’s as smooth as this game can get!
12. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile
This is a mobile spin off from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, and Ubisoft has gone all out with this game. Most walls and floors in the game are destructible, there are so many different operators and maps to pick from, and there is a level of detail in the game that is simply unmatched. If this game was put to the test on any other phone, it would turn that phone as hot as graphite.
Thankfully, the Samsung S23 Ultra is more than capable of handling the game. You can destroy as many walls, throw as many grenades, have as many objects on screen as you like, there will be zero dips in performance.
You can crank the graphics to the highest settings, and yet it does not budge, and the game looks as realistic as they go on a mobile device. The game is only playable within beta periods right now, but it will be out soon for everyone to enjoy.
11. Mighty Doom
On paper, the Mighty Doom should not be that draining on a phone. Yet, if the phone is from 2021 or even early 2022, this game will have massive frame drops and dips in performance. This is why it was such a refreshing experience to play this rogue-lite on the Samsung S23 Ultra. Fair warning, though, it can quickly turn into an addiction.
The beautiful AMOLED screen with its incredibly vibrant colors and the super smooth performance due to the phone’s specifications made playing Mighty Doom an experience to behold. There were no dips in performance, even when the screen was filled with objects and projectiles from enemies and DOOM Guy himself. It made us obsessed!
10. Pokémon Unite
It’s the first MOBA on the list, and we have to say, Pokémon Unite is a blast to play. Now, it might not be as hardcore as some of the other sweat inducing MOBAs out there, but honestly, it doesn’t have to be. The game nails it with the Pokémon theme and integrates their evolutions in such a cool and meaningful way in every match.
Sure, it’s not the most graphically demanding game, but when you crank up all the settings to the max on the S23 Ultra, it looks beautiful in terms of the color and the smartphone handles it well. Pokémon Unite is simple and fun, but the way it captures that Pokémon magic is just right!
9. Marvel Snap
The simplest and yet the most rewarding game on this list, getting into Marvel Snap was a breeze. The gameplay loop is exciting, from collecting heroes to duking it out against others, the short and yet exciting design was incredibly addictive.
You could play a battle, once it’s over, dive into another one right away. It’s fluidity at its best, so it’s no wonder this game took home the best mobile game award.
This game was made for the S23 Ultra, the explosive amount of colors this game features look perfect on the large AMOLED screen, combined with the performance being a smooth 60fps with all the fancy stuff turned on. It’s an addiction unlike any other.
8. PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile has always been a benchmark for almost every single smartphone since the day it became a global sensation. To this day, the game is as hardware intense as they come, especially if you turn the graphics settings to its maximum capacity. Thankfully, the Samsung S23 Ultra is a bit too powerful for PUBG to mess with.
The game runs at a constant 60 frames per second at the highest graphics settings, there’s no heavy battery drain but there is some heating with the game if you play it for long periods of time.
I’d say it’s worth it, though, because the game looks better than it ever has on this phone. Not only does it run better, it really looks better.
7. World of Tanks Blitz
As long as you can handle an absolutely ugly user interface, World of Tanks Blitz is the game for you. It’s incredibly entertaining to play as one of these tanks, and even if the UI is an eyesore, it does make the game more intuitive. It’s an intense game, though, and it takes a heavy toll on most devices.
On the Samsung S23, it barely makes a dent. The most it does is drain the battery and make the phone a little warm, but even then, if you have it fully charged before you start your sessions, you’ll have some explosive fun in a World of Tanks.
There’s explosions, there’s battles, there’s strategy and there’s customization. You basically have everything you need in a game about tanks!
6. Star Wars Hunters
Star Wars Hunters is a third person MOBA shooter, it’s like if Overwatch was a third person game running on your phone, and if it was an actually good game! Star Wars Hunters is super fun to play, there is almost nothing bad about this game except for some heavy monetization which you can always ignore.
Not to mention, the game looks beautiful with its slightly cartoony Western art style and its uniquely designed characters. You can also play some of your most favorite characters and creatures from the Star Wars Universe at a full 60 FPS experience on the Samsung S23 Ultra! It’s a super-fun to play game, and one that actually delivers on everything it promises.

The Hoyoverse will live on forever, because miHoYo have no plans on stopping Genshin, and all the plans on releasing spin offs like Honkai: Star Rail! This game is such a major step up from all the other Gacha games out there.
Sure, it still has all the bells and whistles of a gacha game, such as the immense focus on microtransactions, but that stuff can always be ignored, and you can play it for free instead!
Honkai: Star Rail is the latest in the Hoyoverse, and that’s why it looks so graphically impressive compared to all of their other games. They have truly stepped up their game in terms of the character and art design, and it all looks absolutely breathtaking because of 6’8 AMOLED screen on the Samsung S23 Ultra.
4. League of Legends: Wild Rift
Another MOBA on the list, League of Legends: Wild Rift is the most competitive game that I can find on a phone. The competition is fierce, with each player trying their hardest to win, and when you have a game this tough to play through, you’ll need every advantage in terms of performance. You need to have a faster frame rate, better visual clarity and better hardware that can run this game on max capabilities.
The Samsung S23 Ultra runs League of Legends: Wild Rift better than almost any other phone in the market. It’s a near constant high frame rate with almost no drops, the only issue is when you play it for too long, it can cause the phone to heat up a little bit but not enough to do anything to the phone.
It’s just going to be warm enough that your hands sweat, which they will anyway since this is a competitive game!
3. Fortnite
Let’s say that Fortnite has gone through some incredibly heavy changes. It used to run fine on any budget phone back in the day, but since its transition to Unreal Engine 5, it has gotten much more hardware intensive for most people. This is why you require a phone such as the Samsung S23 Ultra to make sure that it simply runs well enough for you to play it.
Thankfully, the game runs on a solid 60 FPS if you run it on normal settings, however, if you push the graphics to maximum quality and resolution, the game will still give you a near flawless 45 FPS.
Of course, this does vary depending on which area you’re in, if you’re in the new jungle areas, it’s going to dip down to 30 FPS. It looks phenomenal though, even better than it does on the Switch!
